Goutier V. S. is the youngest representative of the house of Gautier skate family, embodying the first stage of the "growing up" of the drink. The Gautier V. The house of Gauthier is one of the oldest cognac producers in France. In 1644, the Gauthier family settled in the city of Aigre and took up wine-making. In 1755, Louis XV signed a Charter according to which Louis Gauthier received permission to produce cognac. This manuscript is kept by no one generation of the old family of cognac producers. Today, the house of Gaultier belongs to the company Marie Brizzard & Roger International. For the production of cognac spirits use grapes that grow in the best regions of the province of Cognac: Petit champagne, borderie, Grand champagne and fen-Bois. Grapes from the Grand champagne region transmit to cognac the smell of a flowering vine, grapes from Petit champagne give cognac the smell of berries, grapes from fen-Bois transmit to cognac the smell of dried flowers, grapes from borderi add notes of forest violets to the bouquet.
Cognac spirits are aged in barrels made from the wood of century-old oaks, which grow exclusively in the forests of Limousin and Trons. Due to long-term aging in such barrels, cognac acquires a unique amber color, softness and delicate bouquet.
Paradis cellars ("Paradise") - the pride of the house of Gautier. Experts claim that they created a unique environment for the birth of cognac. The cellars are located on an island that is surrounded by two branches of the OZM river. High humidity and stable temperature create optimal conditions for maturation of alcohol and enhance the effect of aging cognac in the barrel, which betrays a unique bouquet, exceptional structure and unique soft taste. The cellars store old cognacs from the Grand champagne region, created before 1840. Gauthier cognacs receive numerous awards at prestigious international exhibitions and competitions.
